Bagels & Banter with author Randy’L Teton

friday, oct 25 at 10:30 am

Meet the official Shoshone model for the U.S Sacajawea Dollar Coin and children’s book author of It’s Her Story: Sacajawea.

History Jackson Hole welcomes Randy’L Teton as she talks about her graphic novel, followed by a book signing with books available for purchase at the Jackson Hole History Museum.

Randy’L is a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe and will share her journey as the “only living and youngest model on US currency” and how she was able to finally publish Sacajawea’s journey with the Lewis & Clark Expedition.

What happens to Sacajawea after the two-year expedition? Did she have more children? Did she pass away at a young age or live to be an elder? What is the correct way of spelling her name? Learn this and more with Randy’L.

Free Museum entrance for event! Enjoy bagels, too.
