Beers & Banter: A legacy of community action
wednesday, may 14 at 6 pm | doors open at 5:30 pm
Join us at the History Museum for the unveiling of the permanent exhibition of Keep Yellowstone Nuclear Free in the Main Exhibit Gallery, a short film screening, and conversation with featured guest panelists Mark Sullivan, Angus Theurmer Jr., and Mary Woolen.
The panelists were connected to the non-profit Keep Yellowstone Nuclear Free. KYNF was originally formed to stop the construction of a radioactive and hazardous waste incinerator by Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory directly upwind from Jackson Hole and the greater Yellowstone ecosystem.
The panel will also discuss the legacy of community action in Jackson Hole. Free and open to the public; limited seating. Beverages, including NA, available for suggested donation.
Many thanks to event sponsors Jackson Hole Winery, KHOL 89.1 FM and Roadhouse Brewing Co.!
