Take-a-Tour Tuesdays
10:30 am on the last Tuesday of the month
Meet seven trailblazing women artists painting in plein air (outdoors), with original art works on loan from six museums in Colorado and Utah. Join Exhibits Director Kirsten Corbett for a guided tour of the special upstairs exhibition “Women Artists of the American West: Colorado and Utah, 1885-1935.”
Take-a-Tour Tuesdays are included with admission or membership. Meet in the Jackson Hole History Museum lobby on the last Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. Space is limited to 20; filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exhibition is co-presented by History Jackson Hole and AWARE: Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions and curated by AWARE founder Camille Morineau with AWARE art historian Lucia Pespane.
The exhibition and catalog are made possible by AWARE-USA and the generous support of Marshall and Véronique Parke. Significant support is provided by Treadwell, a leading fine art insurer, protecting some of the world’s most distinguished collections. Support is also given by Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Arison Art Foundation, as well as the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board, and Wyoming Arts Council.
