Join History Jackson Hole and the Cowboy Trades Association to view “Saddle Up! Western Handmade Art and Gear” a new exhibition created by the Cowboy Trades Association (CTA). The exhibit honors Western cowboy heritage and those who carry it to future generations by celebrating the work of artisans from all around the Northern Rockies as well as Jackson Hole tradition-keepers.

  • Handcrafted gear and art
  • Cowboy artisan video stories
  • Interactive displays honoring heritage-in-action

From bootmakers to silversmiths, saddle makers to weavers, this exhibit brings the West’s creative traditions to life. Meet featured artisans at many upcoming related events.

The exhibit will be on view through January 3, 2026 at the Jackson Hole History Museum in the upstairs Cissy Patterson Gallery.
