Potluck Features Epic Horseback Journey

The Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum hosts its annual potluck program on Thursday, September 20, at the Paula and Louis Leisinger home, 990 Cache Creek Dr., East Jackson. The potluck portion of the evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with the program following. The event is free and everyone is welcome.

Richard and Jeannette McGrath will share stories from their epic twenty-one month journey across the country on horseback. According to Richard, the stories are good, “ranging from the miraculous to me and two horses falling off a cliff.” Realizing a childhood dream of Jeannette’s, the couple decided to see America by horse as a way to raise money for their ranch that, once purchased, will aid people in need of emotional healing. Please see www.heartsupranch.com for more information. The McGraths reside in Driggs, Idaho.

Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share, their own table service, and an optional lawn chair. Drinks are provided. Please contact Karen Reinhart, curator of education and outreach, at 307-733-2414, [email protected] or visit www.jacksonholehistory.org for more information about this and other program offerings.
