Join the History Jackson Hole and the Cowboy Trades Association for an Opening Exhibit Reception. This new exhibition created by the Cowboy Trades Association (CTA) honors Western cowboy heritage and those who carry it to future generations by celebrating the work of artisans from all around the Northern Rockies as well as Jackson Hole tradition-keepers.

At the Opening, CTA will recognize local artists including Steve Fontanini, Christy Sing Robertson, Kelly Frye, Keith Valley and Cowboy Trades Association Exhibit Chair and Colorado bootmaker Jim Brainard.

In the exhibit you’ll find:

  • Handcrafted gear + art
  • Artist video stories + digital dialogues
  • Interactive displays honoring heritage-in-action

From bootmakers to silversmiths, saddle makers to weavers, this rotating exhibit brings the West’s creative traditions to life. Meet featured artisans at upcoming related events.

The exhibit will be on view through January 3, 2026 at the Jackson Hole History Museum.
