The History Museum & Store is closed while we move locations. We will reopen at our new History Museum Campus at 175 East Broadway Avenue in June 2024.
Our Administration, Research and Education services remain open online Monday – Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Downtown Walking Tours
Downtown Historic Walking Tours are closed for the season.
Regularly scheduled walking tours will begin when we open in June 2024.
On an hour-long walk, you’ll explore Jackson Hole landmarks and historic buildings with a local guide, who will share memorable stories of unique local characters. Costs are the same as Museum admission prices; we will take up to 12 people on each tour. All tours depart from our History Museum Campus at 175 East Broadway Avenue.
We do offer private tours on many weekdays including dates before June 2024. To find out about availability and booking private tours, email [email protected].
The minimum fee for a private tour is $175 per hour for groups larger than 12 people. Private tours are dependent on guide availability.

Museum Accessibility
In order to provide a secure and healthy environment for our guests, as well as to protect the historical collections, we can only allow service animals in our Museum. A service animal is trained to work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Pets and emotional support animals are not considered service animals by the ADA Disability Act and are not allowed inside the Jackson Hole Historical Society Museum & Store.
