Event Details

On Monday, September 10, the Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum will hold an Oral History workshop led by Barbara Bogart.  Barbara has worked as an oral historian in Wyoming since 1991 and will bring her many years of experience right here to Jackson.

This event is free but requires registration.  To register, click here.

Hosting Story Corps for the month of June inspired JHHSM to launch a new oral history campaign entitled “My Jackson Hole History.” This oral history workshop will be the first part of the campaign. The morning session will be a basic “Oral History 101” – breaking down the what, why, who, where, when, etc. The afternoon session will be hands-on with practice interviews and project planning. We’ll break for lunch from 12-1 pm and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch or eat in town.

We hope that you can join us and learn a new way to engage with the rich, local history here in Jackson Hole.
