The Teton County Library and Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum introduce a new series of programs to celebrate the Teton County’s centennial anniversary called, “Where did we come from? Who are we? Where are we going?”

The series kicks off with an online talk by Indigenous historian, writer, and professor Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, on Thursday, February 25 at 6 pm, entitled “Indigenous Knowledge of the Land.”

The Jackson Hole area has been shaped and defined by its landscape and people for thousands of years. This collaborative series will expose our contemporary community to a broader national and global look at this relationship, providing context for a more thoughtful reflection and understanding of these factors at play in the Tetons,” says Morgan Jaouen, JHHSM Executive Director.
