Come join us for a night of crafting and history as we kick off our Historic Trade School Program! Through this workshop series we will explore history through craftsmanship and trade by learning a trade and its significance to local Jackson history, and then taking a hand-crafted item home! This workshop series is recommended for adults and young adults (16+).

On Friday August 10th, artist Jennifer McNaughton from the Art Association will demonstrate metalsmithing. We will work to make metal conchos like found on saddles or bolo ties and learn about the history of dude ranching in the valley.

The Complete Workshop series includes:

August 10: Metals

September 13: Leather

October 11: Candle Making

November 8: Fibers
