Volunteer Opportunities

The JHHSM and the JHAI: Mercill Archaeology Center could not exist without the help of our many volunteers. We are grateful to everyone who has helped us get up and running this past year and look forward to making new friends for the Mercill Archaeology Center!

Archaeology and Anthropology Undergrads, Graduate Students and Professionals:

Looking for more lab, museum, or  field experience? Contact us!  Projects might include, field research and survey, database work, curation, educational outreach and programming, exhibit building etc.

General Public:

Have an interest in archaeology and the past? We can always use volunteers to help out with our museum and educational programming (classes, docents, exhibit building etc).

We currently do not have any field opportunities available to the public, but check back in the spring!

We accept mature middle school and high school students to volunteer after school and in the summer! If  you or someone you know is interested email rebecca@jacksonholehistory.org or call us 307-733-2414.
